Wounded Warriors Family Support was honored to attend the United States Strategic Command Update Luncheon, hosted by the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.  Admiral Charles A. Richard was the keynote speaker.  Community leaders and entrepreneurs engaged the Admiral with questions and shared views on the importance of moving forward with modernization.  After discussing current global events as they relate to U.S. Strategic Command, Adm. Richard expressed his deep appreciation for the community’s steadfast support of the Command, its mission and above all else its people – truly the essence of Nebraska character.

Admiral Charles A. Richard assumed his current duties in November 2019.  As Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, he is responsible for one of 11 Unified Commands under the Department of Defense.  USSTRATCOM is responsible for the global command and control of U.S. strategic forces to meet decisive national security objectives, providing a broad range of strategic capabilities and options for the President and Secretary of Defense.
