Wounded Warriors Family Support provides vacation retreats to wounded veterans and their families. The family retreats are a chance for wounded veterans to heal and reconnect with their loved ones in a peaceful, non-stress environment.
Our family retreats give wounded veterans and their families a break from the pressures of everyday life to take time to become stronger as individuals and families. Wounded veterans are given the opportunity to decompress and share in positive experiences with their spouses and children, strengthening the bonds of their families and making lasting memories.
Universal Orlando Resort
Wounded Warriors Family Support is proud to offer eligible veteran families an unforgettable, memory-making experience at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure! Each approved family receives 2-day park passes that grant access to both world-class theme parks, along with two complimentary parking passes to make the adventure more convenient and stress-free.
This opportunity is available to 100 veteran families with dependent children listed on their military documentation. Our mission is simple: to give families who have sacrificed so much a chance to reconnect, celebrate life together, and enjoy the magic of a world-renowned destination. Whether it’s exploring thrilling attractions, meeting beloved characters, or simply sharing smiles and laughter, this retreat is designed to create memories that last a lifetime.
We understand the unique challenges veteran families face, and we believe in giving them meaningful opportunities to step away from daily stress and spend quality time together. Universal Orlando offers the perfect backdrop where families can relax, have fun, and create unforgettable experiences together.

Staycations
Staycations are an opportunity for wounded veterans and their families to take a break from their day-to-day routines. You choose the date, time, and location of your staycation.
Staycations are less stressful than a traditional vacation. We encourage families to support their local communities and explore local lodging accommodations and restaurants. We hope this provides your family with a much-needed break from your day-to-day chores.
We are incredibly proud to have been able to offer such a needed program in this tumultuous year. We knew that providing our veteran families with a place to relax and recharge was critical, and it’s clear from the success of these packages that there is strong demand for staycations.
We are therefore strongly encouraged to continue investing in and supporting this program in the near future. Due to an overwhelming number of applications, the WWFS Staycation program has been temporarily paused; please visit our website for future updates.
