WWFS’s Native American Veteran…

Watch Video

Visiting Wounded Warriors Family Support staff on May 19 were four Native American residents of the Fort Belnap reservation. A traditional ceremony and blanket were presented by the group. The reservation received a 2016 Ford Explorer through WWFS's Native American Veteran Support, Transportation and Respite (NAVSTaR) program. The tribe was referred to WWFS by Peter Scott Vicaire Tribal Government Relations Specialist,Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
Wounded Warriors Family Support has provided nine Ford vehicles through our NAVSTaR program in an effort to provide safe and dependable transportation to VA facilities for native American veterans.
