Drive the Journey
Microsoft employees (from State, Local Government, Public Sector Enterprise Services Group) are driving a specially modified Ford F-150 6,500 miles across the United States to raise awareness for our combat wounded disabled veterans.

The vehicle is equipped with several state of the art devices designed to open up access to the disabled driver. Bridging barriers that might otherwise prevent their ability to be independently mobile. All this while driving a vehicle that maintains a “non modified appearance.”

The Ford F-150 is also equipped with a SPOT GPS tracking system. The truck can be seen driving across the county during the “Drive the Journey” tour.

At the end of our journey Microsoft will present the mobility equipped truck to a deserving combat wounded veteran and his family in Reston, VA on October 4th.

Proudly supported by Microsoft employee giving.

Thanks! to all the Microsoft employees for supporting our veterans.
