Bois Forte Tribe Vehicle Donation

01/22/2019

Wounded Warriors Family Support donated a new Ford Explorer to the Bois Forte Tribe in Nett Lake, MN.

"We will be using the vehicle to assist veterans in getting to medical and VA paperwork appts. And also for home visits from the Community Health Representatives and the Community Health Nurses to the veterans who are in need of those services.  We are very excited to have a 4x4 vehicle, we have some veterans that live down roads that aren’t often plowed after a snow storm.  This ensures we can get to them if needed."  - Teri Morrison

The people in the picture are Teri Morrison, Community Health Nurse, Roxanne Goggleye, Community Health Representative, Garrett Landgren, Community Health Nurse, and Derek Hage of Lundgren's Ford.

These vehicles are provided through our Native American Veterans Support, Transition, and Respite Program, which we call NAVSTaR.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
